Tis the season for celebrations..

Well lets see, graduation, Christmas, and the boys are getting big.

First, Ryan graduated with his Nursing degree. I am so proud of him.  The boys and I went, and it was a long night for them, but well worth it.  Ryan was nominated to be a Grand Marshall.  What this means is he carried in the school flag.  He looked great doing it too.  He was only one of a few men graduating from the Nursing Program, so I was sitting their a very proud wife.  What an accomplishment.  He will be submitting his application on Monday for his date to take the boards. Wow hard to believe the adventure of a one income family is almost over.

After graduation the hustle and bustle of Christmas came.  The boys first Christmas with family was amazing. They spoiled the boys rotten.  My living room really is officially a kid zone.  I thought it was small before, now there are so many toys everywhere.

The boys are now 5 1/2 months old.  I can't believe how quickly they are growing.  Everyday they learn something new, and amaze me more and more.  It honestly brings tears to my eyes sitting here thinking about everything they can do now.  Really, everyone tells you they grow up so fast, but until you are a mom, I don't think it is believed.  It is so true.

Here are the things the boys can do now:
  1. Both Christian and Zach can sit up on their own.
  2. Both Christian and Zach can roll over and push themselves up, as well as, sometimes bringing their knees under them.
  3. Christian can pull himself up if he is sitting on your lap and you have a stand up toy in front of him.
  4. Zach can stand up if you put him in the standing position in front of a stand up toy.
  5. They are both eating solids, however Zach is so NOT a fan of peas, cereal, or oatmeal.  Who would have thought the big guy is not liking the good stuff.  Christian on the other hand you can't get the spoon in his mouth quick enough.
  6. They are pretty much Sleeping through the night.  The longest stretch thus far is 10 hours.  They still wake up once a night every few days. I am not complaining!
  7. They both are interacting so well now. They love to play with all of their toys, and get so excited doing so.
  8. Zach and Christian have discovered their feet.  It is funny, however when you are trying to change them, not so much.  They don't understand that the process goes so much quicker if they are NOT holding on to their feet.
So that is the latest on us.  I haven't had much time on the computer at home, but will do so soon, and update with pictures.  I can't believe they will be 6 months old in just a short 11 days.
